The Walmart Foundation recently awarded Mount Sequoyah Center a Bridging and Belonging Grant focused on fostering the next generation of creatives through building third spaces to learn from experts in their field. Six stellar mentors and 30 talented mentees built a festival that too place on May 6th. Our next event will be in October, so stay tuned! This is a multifaceted arts and music program created through a mentor/mentee program focused on nurturing the next generation of creatives and improving venues at Mount Sequoyah to function as third spaces. AMMP stands for Arts & Music Mentorship Program. This program focuses on 6 categories of mentorship: Visual Art, Graphic Design, Audio/Visual Tech, Art Management, Music Management, and Music Performance.
